Upgrade of damaged steel pipe work with 400mm PN16 poly pipe, as part of an Underground Mine Water supply line. Sections were replaced down a steep rocky escarpment and required anchoring and restraining. Anchor blocks and clamps were designed and installed at the top of the escarpment to take the full weight of the pipeline once in an operational state. Fluren Project Managed the entire project - Cutting and Relocating of the poly pipe, Excavation and Concreting works, Polywelding and Multi Machine Operation of lowering the pipeline into its final position, bolting up to the existing lines and restraining to the anchor points.

Polywelding
Installation of 3kms of 400mm poly pipeline for connection between existing infrastructure and three dewatering borehole pumps. Installed for the purpose of water extraction for ongoing underground mining operations. Project works included sourcing all poly pipe and parts, Welding of poly pipe onsite, Excavation works for burying pipeline, Trenching road crossings, Isolation of existing infrastructure for the purpose of safe connection and pressure testing of pipeline in accordance with Australian standards.

Polywelding
Connection of three dewatering boreholes to our previously installed 400mm overland poly pipeline. All poly pipework was fabricated at our workshop as per engineered designs and relocated to site for installation. Other project works included installation of various sized butterfly valves, pressure relief valves, flow metres, tapping saddle air relief valves, pressure gauges and ball valves in key points of the pipework. Also, a 22,500 litre poly overflow water tank was sourced with specific inlet and outlet fittings welded in to suit connection to our poly pipelines. The pipework was pressure tested to 1.5 times the operating pressure as per the Australian Standard before being handed over to the Client.
